Application & Verification Process
1. Purchase Membership
Choose Lifetime (£297) or Annual (£147/year) membership and complete payment via WooCommerce.
2. Receive Instructions Email
After purchase, you will receive an email with your order number and instructions for submitting verification documents.
3. Submit Credentials & Portfolio
Email your qualification certificate(s), portfolio images (4-6), and profile information to the address provided, including your order number.
4. Verification Review
Our team reviews your qualification certificates and portfolio quality. Verification takes 7-14 business days.
5. Profile Goes Live
Once approved, your profile is published on TheNailWiki directory. You receive a confirmation email with your profile URL.
Required Documents: Qualification certificate (clear photo or scan), portfolio images (4-6 high-quality JPEG/PNG), profile details (name, bio, location, contact info, website, social links).
Profile Update Fees
Profile changes after approval require manual work and are subject to admin fees:
- Portfolio image changes: £52 per update
- Bio text changes: £27 per update
- Treatment list changes (Lifetime members only): £27 per update
- Treatment list changes (Annual members): Free (reasonable limits apply)
- Social link changes: £12 per update
- Contact detail changes: Free (self-service when available)
- Full profile redesign: £97+ (quote provided)
These fees reflect the manual work required to update, reformat, and republish profile content. Please ensure information is accurate before submitting to avoid unnecessary fees.
Payment & Refund Policy
⚠️ Important: Non-Refundable After Verification Begins
Payment is required before verification begins. Once you submit your credentials and portfolio for verification, the payment becomes non-refundable.
This policy protects against chargebacks and reflects the manual work involved in reviewing qualifications, checking portfolio quality, and processing applications.
If Verification Cannot Be Completed
If your qualifications cannot be verified (e.g., unaccredited certificate, insufficient portfolio quality, fraudulent documentation), the following applies:
- An admin fee of £50-£97 is deducted to cover verification work completed
- The remaining balance is refunded as a partial refund
- The specific admin fee depends on the complexity of review work undertaken

Annual Membership Cancellation
Annual memberships automatically renew each year. You may cancel anytime:
- Cancel via your WooCommerce account dashboard
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
- Your profile remains live until subscription expires
- No refunds for partial subscription periods
- You may reactivate subscription anytime by repurchasing

Do I need insurance or a licence?

Can I join if I am not in the UK?

What if my qualification is not listed?
